- 1) You only low level format a hard disk if you are a) brain damaged, b) ready
- to write off the drive if the format fails for any reason, c) know ***VERY***
- well what you are doing and why.

- 2) What happens when you use the AmigaDOS "Format" command? If that fails I'd
- suspect there is something seriously wrong with your controller software.

- 3) If you are going to work this recovery you will have to do it on a "virgin"
- system, one without anything other than "setpatch" running. If you can delete
- all the files and they come back on reboot then there is something very odd
- about your setup or you are not really doing what you think you are doing.
